9/11 dedicated to the ones that need help the most

Our Youth Council has cooperated with SWT Alumni Macedonia, Studiorium and Makedox for this wonderful action that at least for a day warmed the hearts of the children without parents and children with disabilities.

Our volunteers went to 3 cities throughout Macedonia. They beautified the gardens of the orphanage in Berovo, installed a wooden fence and socialized with the children.

In Kavadarci our volunteers repaired the rooms together with the kids, and after the work they relaxed over some games and a wonderful lunch. In the afternoon, Makedox played thematic documentary for them and developed a short discussion.

In Strumica, together with Novus, the volunteers socialized with 15 children with disabillities, doing art projects on the topic “In my world” and at the same time gathered donations for tools and equipment for the local NGO “Poraka”

The whole project YANA (You Are Not Alone) successfully reached its goals which were raising awareness in the community about the importance of humanity, providing equal opportunities for every citizen and working together for better conditions. We hope that next year we will cover even more cities and turn this activity into traditional project that will be organized every year.
